StudioTK supports the young company Grünwand GmbH in its development in a communicative and advisory capacity and forms the bridge between technical know-how and clear and understandable communication:

A climate-resilient city needs green spaces – to regulate the temperature and to absorb and store water well.

Green spaces make cities liveable. But inner-city living space is becoming increasingly limited due to residential and commercial buildings. There is often a lack of space for green areas.

The solution lies in the vertical, on façades and balconies: GRÜNWAND brings nature back into the city.

The system consists of two parts: Concrete as a support and water barrier to the house facade. And a plant grid that holds the local soil. The soil stores water. And it nourishes the plants, which can simply be sown.

The elements are ready planted and can be installed at low cost. GRÜNWAND is space-saving, modular, serial and self-supporting.
